SIGA anuncia vencedores da 1.ª edição dos Sport Integrity Awards

A SIGA anunciou, nesta terça-feira, os vencedores da edição inaugural dos Sport Integrity Awards, destinados a reconhecer padrões elevados de integridade no desporto. A cerimónia decorreu em Riade, Arábia Saudita, com o apoio de parceiros como ESTAAD e Cityscape Global, integrada no Sport Integrity Action Month.

Entre os destaques, a European Aquatics, presidida por António José Silva, recebeu o prémio de Organização Desportiva do Ano (Sports Organisation of the Year). A instituição destacou o compromisso com a transparência, a justiça e a liderança ética em todas as fases do desporto aquático.

Os vencedores de 2025 foram: Media of the Year — Diario AS; Leader in Sustainability & Innovation — Tottenham Hotspur FC; Marketing Campaign of the Year — Roc Nation Sports; Sports Organisation of the Year — European Aquatics; Sport Event of the Year — AFC Champions League 2024/2025; Sport Leader of the Year — Kirsty Coventry, presidente do IOC; Sport Event of the Year — UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 e UEFA Champions League 2024/25; Lifetime Achievement Award — Yousef Al Serkal.

A cerimónia contou com declarações que reforçaram o papel da integridade e do legado da iniciativa. Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, Co-Fundador e CEO Global da SIGA, destacou que os prémios celebram líderes e organizações que estabelecem o padrão de integridade no desporto, promovem instituições fortes e fortalecem a confiança no setor.
