A presen\u00e7a da esp\u00e9cie, que costuma nadar longas dist\u00e2ncias, foi observada durante alguns segundos num passadi\u00e7o junto \u00e0 corrente.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o ficou claro se as lontras sa\u00edram da \u00e1gua assustadas pela for\u00e7a da corrente ou se estavam a brincar. Ap\u00f3s esse curto momento, voltaram a mergulhar no leito do rio sem perturba\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Embora n\u00e3o seja frequente neste tro\u00e7o, a presen\u00e7a de lontras \u00e9 registada de vez em quando.
